  39. I wondered about this wierd looking display too.I found this on the Supra
  40. BBS awhile ago.

  44. R34     V34 Asymmetric Mode Active (next number cycled on will show
  45.                 the RECEIVE carrier rate)

  47. T34     V34 Asymmetric Mode Active (next number cycled on will show
  48.                 the TRANSMIT carrier rate)

  50. R34 and T34 means V34 Mode active,rather then VFC, I guess. I normally get
  51. the number 28, after the R34 & T34 displays on my ISP connection. On the
  52. 28.8 VFC Bulletin boards I do not get the R34 and T34, so all of this
  53. appears normal.
